New inherently limited Class 2 Transformers from Foster Transformer are easier to install and operate since they require no external fusing and contain no internal current fuses. Designed for applications requiring a hard wired, externally mounted Class 2 power source, these UL listed and C-UL Certified transformers are ideal for many control applications. Manufactured with UL Class 130 (B) Insulation Systems and Class 155 (F) magnet wire, these transformers are designed to last the life of the systems they power. They are ideal for use with alarm systems, motion sensors, automated faucets & toilets, remote signaling, low voltage lighting, door openers, control systems, dispensing equipment and commercial appliances.
All models are ROHS compliant and available with input voltages of 115, 115/230, or 200/230 V, outputs of 12V or 24V, and capacities of either 5VA or 20VA. UL Listed to UL 5085-3/CSA 22.2 No. 66.3, UL File number E17029.
This new line of transformers is ideal for OEMs, electrical distributors and electrical contractors seeking a domestically manufactured Class 2 power source. Custom configurations and application specific wiring harnesses are available.
