Foster Transformer Company is headquartered in the Northside area of Cincinnati, Ohio. One of Cincinnati's oldest manufacturing districts, Northside has been designated a Federal HUBZone area. Encompassing 55,000 square feet of design, manufacturing, and warehouse space, our headquarters is conveniently located at the intersection of I-74 and I-75 and is only minutes away from I-71, the Greater Cincinnati International Airport and major rail yards.

Our Cincinnati facility also houses Kinetics Corporation a fully equipped tool and die manufacturer. Kinetics Corporation provides Foster Transformer Company with the ability to manufacture its own tooling, fixtures, and unique production machinery. This cuts lead times and reduces start-up costs for new programs.

With a fully equipped Engineering Lab and the close support of Engineering, Purchasing, and Kinetics, our Cincinnati facility specializes in quick turn, start-up, and low to mid volume production.

Our newest manufacturing facility is located in Dongguan City, China. It is less than 50 miles from the ports of Hong Kong and Macau and is within 30 miles of two international airports. This facility is registered to ISO 9001:2000 with Underwriters Laboratories and is in a 75,000 square foot building.

Equipped with CNC coil winders, automatic lamination stacking machines, core welders, vacuum pressure impregnation capabilities, and automated test equipment, our Dongguan facility is ideally suited for mid to high volume production. The addition of the Dongguan facility maintains Foster’s commitment to globally competitive prices while retaining local support our customers have come to expect.
